Residential Epoxy Flake Garage Floor in Easley, SC

Custom Carbon and Raw Black Flake Blend — Built for a Race Car and a Truck

Zachary Daniel Concrete installed a bold, charcoal-dark epoxy flake floor in a large residential garage in Easley, South Carolina — a custom carbon color punched up with an extra 10 to 15 percent raw black flake mixed in for depth. The homeowner is parking a race car and a truck on this floor, so it had to look like a statement piece and hold up like a workhorse. The slab started out in rough shape with beat-up joints, cracks, and holes throughout.

The ZDC crew filled every joint, crack, and divot, ground the surface smooth, and cleaned the substrate before applying the base epoxy coat. From there it was a tight rhythm — squeegee the epoxy across the floor, back-roll it for an even film, broadcast the custom carbon-and-black flake blend to rejection, and let it cure overnight.

The crew came back the next day to lock everything in with a durable top coat. This was a two-garage install on the same property — same homeowner, second garage scheduled right after — and the team finished the first one by five o'clock and beat the rain.
