Zachary Daniel Concrete installed a dark charcoal epoxy flake floor in a large premium residential garage in Landrum, South Carolina — a deep, uniform dark gray flake blend that gives the finished space the kind of polished, dramatic look that matches the quality of the garage it's going into. ZDC ran a full multi-machine grind crew — three crew members in ZDC orange running multiple planetary grinders and edge machines simultaneously across the full floor, vacuum-extracting dust as they went. Running machines in parallel on a large garage floor is how you maintain consistent grind depth across every section, from the field out to the edges, and how you get the job done in a day without compromising the uniformity that shows up in the finished coating. With the slab prepped uniformly across the full floor, the dark charcoal base coat went down, the flake was broadcast to rejection, scraped and vacuumed flat, and sealed with a UV-stable top coat for the high-gloss, deep gray finish visible in the finished photos.
