Residential Custom Metallic Epoxy Garage Floor in Fountain Inn, SC

Jet Black Metallic with Silver "Cigar Smoke" Wisps — Designed Around the Cars

Zachary Daniel Concrete designed and installed a custom metallic epoxy garage floor in Fountain Inn, South Carolina built around an unusual brief: the floor was supposed to accent the cars parked on it, not compete with them. The homeowner has a collection of very nice cars in silver and black and wanted a floor that supported the showpieces instead of stealing their thunder.

Most metallic epoxy floors are intentionally busy — the more activity in the pattern, the more it hides the hand of the installer and reads as naturally chaotic. ZDC took the opposite approach on this one. The crew built a jet black base coat as the canvas, then worked silver metallic pigments across the field with a T-bar applicator, manipulating the material in deliberate wisps and plumes — the customer's own description was "cigar smoke," and that's exactly what the surface delivers. Subtle solid passages of silver give the floor depth, while the floating wisps drift through the black like smoke rising in a still room.

The result is a garage floor that reads quiet from across the room but reveals real craft when you look closely — perfectly tuned to silver-and-black paint sitting on top of it. Call Zach at (864) 770-8608 if you have a garage that deserves the same level of intention.
